Highlyfe Diesel Services is a family-owned mobile diesel shop based in Hillsboro, Ohio. Our service trucks cover Hillsboro, Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and the towns in between, plus surrounding states when the job calls for it. We work on class 8 semis, medium-duty box trucks, diesel pickups, and ag and construction equipment.
What we fix on site
- Derates, shutdowns and check engine lights. We plug in with OEM-level software, read the active and inactive codes, and test the circuit before replacing parts.
- Electrical and CAN network faults. No-comm modules, intermittent J1939 faults, chafed harnesses and corroded connectors. Electrical work is a big part of what we do.
- Sensors and actuators. NOx, EGR, DEF, temperature and pressure sensors, VGT actuators, throttle and pedal sensors.
- Aftertreatment. Forced and parked regens, DEF dosing problems and SCR efficiency faults. See aftertreatment repair.
- Fuel system. Injector replacement and trim codes, lift pumps, fuel contamination cleanup and low-rail-pressure faults.
- Programming. Parameter changes, module replacement setup and software updates. See ECM programming.
- A/C. Leak checks, evacuate and recharge, and compressor and line work on cabs and sleepers.
How a mobile call works
Send a mobile service request or call us. Tell us where the truck is, the year, make and engine, what it's doing, and any codes you have. We call back to confirm the details and give you an idea of timing before anyone heads out. A request isn't a booked appointment until we've talked.
When we get there, we diagnose first and explain what we found. If the repair can be done on site, we do it. If it needs parts, we tell you what and roughly how long. If the problem points to a bigger repair that needs a bay, we'll say so plainly instead of guessing on your dime.
