Programming

ECM & TCM Programming

Module programming on the OEM software the platform calls for. On site, remotely with your tools, or on our bench.

Modern diesel trucks are run by their modules. When an engine control module (ECM), transmission control module (TCM) or body controller needs programming, the right software and the right process matter more than anything else. A flash that drops halfway through can leave a truck dead in the yard. We've been doing module work long enough to know how to do it cleanly and how to recover when someone else's attempt didn't go well.

What we program

  • Customer parameters. Road speed limits, cruise settings, idle shutdown, PTO and fast-idle setup, tire size and axle ratio.
  • Replacement modules. Setting up a new or used ECM or TCM for the truck it's going into, including VIN and engine serial number where the platform requires it.
  • Software updates. OEM calibration updates and campaign reflashes.
  • TCM programming. Allison and automated manual transmission setup, relearns and calibration updates.
  • Module recovery. Bench recovery of modules bricked by a failed or interrupted flash, with checksum correction and a verified return file.

Three ways to get it done

We don't remove or disable emissions equipment on vehicles that run on public roads. If a truck is in a derate from an aftertreatment fault, we find and fix the cause. Call (513) 377-0831 with the year, make, engine and module part number and we'll tell you what it takes.
